Would You Dare To Cross The World’s Most Dangerous Bridges?
Lake Pontchartrain Causeway
When it comes to long bridges over water, the United States really knows how to go about making them. The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway is the longest bridge in the world, as it has a total length of 23 miles.
These bridges are dangerous because they only sit about 16 feet above the water, so this isn’t the best place to get caught in a storm.
These bridges were built to connect New Orleans to North Shore, as it took residents forever to travel across the lake. It only takes about 50 minutes to cross the bridges one way.
