12. Opulence or Mold Breeding Ground?

At some point, someone must have thought this was a brilliant idea. These homeowners must have spent a pretty penny to make their bathroom just the way they wanted it. I mean, who builds columns around the bathing area? But the carpet is horrendous. This isn't the first time we've mentioned bathrooms with carpeting (and even pools) on this site. Folks, this is just plain silly. Carpets in bathrooms get wet. And stagnant water breeds mold. I hope they have a fan or something to dry out the space. Otherwise, the bathroom will always have a damp smell. That's not very luxurious at all.
