Nadia Comăneci

A Romanian Olympic gymnast, Comaneci shattered records in 1976 by achieving the inaugural perfect 10 score. She demonstrated her exceptional gymnastic skills by earning six perfect 10s and securing three gold medals. This marked the beginning of Comaneci's legacy as the global ambassador of this sport.

In 1989, she relocated to the United States and eventually became a naturalized citizen. Comaneci exchanged vows with fellow gold medalist Bart Conner.
