What should you do when it comes to a brilliant time to come together as a family and enjoy long sunny days? There are so many fun family activities available, we’ve compiled 7 of them to set you on your way.
1. Visit museums

2. Cook!
Teach your kids some skills in the kitchen, or learn some new ones yourself. The most important thing about cooking is that it's fun, but also an opportunity to instill some healthy tips into your family's life
3. Have a picnic
A picnic is a great opportunity to make your child feel loved and heard. Also, playing small family games with picnic games will also help your family bond. Fresh air has been proven to be good for children's physical and mental health. Having a picnic on a sunny day also helps with vitamin D and calcium absorption.
4. Do some chores (in a fun way)
Completing household chores promotes the development of many essential skills necessary for success in life. For younger children, performing simple chores like folding clothes or helping make a bed can improve coordination and motor skills. Completing chores also increases a child's sense of responsibility and helps develop planning and organizational skills.
5. Take a road Trip
Most families have busy schedules, whether it's a parent working full-time and caring for a child, or a child attending school and participating in extracurricular activities. Taking a family road trip together will give you the opportunity to get rid of all the daily worries. It allows you to forget about work, school or anything else that is stressing you out and focus on having fun with your family. Plus, when you're relaxed, it's easier to really engage and engage with the moment, which means you're actually able to enjoy each other's company.
6. Make a time capsule
These are endlessly fascinating – capture your moment in time, then catch up with it a number of years later (or not at all, leaving it for future generations to find). 7. Take on an epic jigsaw puzzle
Find the most ridiculously over-complicated jigsaw you can – turn it into a project! You can keep a record of it as you progress through the year (take pictures etc.), whilst working on it as a family, or alone. There’s a certain serenity to completing a jigsaw puzzle piece by piece. Plus, it’s highly rewarding at the end that in turn leads to a more functional and cohesive family life.
