Six Facts About Radiation

What is radiation?

Radiation, also called electromagnetic wave, is the emission or transmission of energy in the form of waves or particles through space or through a material medium at the speed of light. Meanwhile, it is associated with electric field and a magnetic field. Usually this energy includes electromagnetic radiation, particle radiation, acoustic radiation, and gravitational radiation.

In fact, ultraviolet radiation, x-rays, and gamma rays have the highest energy. When they interact with atoms, they can remove electrons and cause the atom to become ionized.

What are sources of radiation?

The sources of radiation are all around us all the time. Some radiations come from cosmos, and some are man-made. Mining, burning fuels and buildings also increase radiation doses. So does fallout from past testing of nuclear weapons, color television and smoke detectors. Maybe we are much more familiar with X-rays and radioactive materials used in medicine.

What materials can prevent radiation?

Lead, as a naturally rare element found in small amounts in the earth's crust, can effectively reduce certain kinds of radiation because of its high density and high atomic number, which is a heavy metal that is denser than most common materials. It can be toxic but effective to fight off gamma rays and x-rays. Thus, some products, such as lead aprons, lead blankets, and various other types of lead shielding are used for stopping radiation. That is why dentists place a lead blanket on patients when they are receiving x-rays of their teeth.

How to get rid of radiation?

Actually there are a lot of RF EME devices around us, like tablets, mobile phones, kindles, computers, air conditioners, refrigerators, microwave ovens, printers, washing machines, etc., and they convert harmful substances into people’s body by the signal.

Although there is no established scientific evidence that the use of these devices can cause any health effects, you need to admit that someone may feel bad when they frequently use them. People need to do something to substantially reduce exposure. It is a good choice to share the EMF shield stickers or other products with same function with your family or friends, they will be surprised by these practical radiation blockers.

Meanwhile, you should reduce exposure from mobile phones and other wireless devices through limiting the time and distance you apply with.

If one day a radiation emergency occurs, you can take actions to protect yourself, your loved ones and your pets by getting inside, staying inside and maintaining tuned and waiting someone to save you.

How to treat radiation disease?

Radiation disease can not be cured. But there are some medications may remove some radiation from the body.

These treatments include the following:

•Potassium Iodide (KI)

•Prussian Blue

•DTPA (Diethylenetriamine pentaacetate)

All in all, once anyone who have been exposed to radiation should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Medical professionals will determine if treatments are needed.

Why radiation is harmful

Once radiation occurs, it will be a disaster for human being. Why people are so afraid of it, because it contains some deadly harm. Radiation is a mutagen, which eventually can lead to cancer by killing cells or damaging the DNA within them and destroying their ability to reproduce. That is also why people from all over the world fear about nuclear power.

What foods can help you detox radiation

A study published in Russia reviewed that some foods can be against radiation.

Researchers also concluded that some foods like concentrated dietary fiber, Spirulina,

Chlorella, Seaweed, Kelp, Black or Green Tea, Garlic, Onions, Wheat Grass, Apples (and other fruits rich in pectin), Lemons, Parsley, Beets, Sauerkraut, Broccoli, etc, can be used in human nutrition to accelerate the elimination of nuclides or radioactive elements.
